Record Crime Wave Save

Crime has reached record highs, even for our beloved
city. The recent rise in gang violence is not the only angle this
crime spree is coming from though. Two museum break-ins, two deaths,
two car thefts, a large art theft, three rapes, and a smattering of
smaller, miscellaneous crimes have been proven to have no gang
involvement tied to them in anyway.

Personal Gallery Pilfered

In breaking news, a high profile forestry
mogul had his entire personal painting collection stolen. How exactly
this crime was perpetrated is not yet known, however it is suggested
that the culprit is not only a technophile, but also a prankster, as
parts of the security tapes seem to be missing though the tapes
themselves show no evidence of being tampered with.

Police Out in Force

Thanks to the valiant efforts of our police force,
and local National Guardsman our city streets are well on their way to
being safe again. Curfew is still in effect, but the crime rate has
stabilized and is now beginning to drop.

Gas Explosion Causes Hysteria, Damage
A gas main ignited beneath Alabama and Vienna
at 8:30pm today. Luckily no one was hurt. It took city officials an
hour to get the gas turned off, and several more to contain the
hysteria that gripped downtown. The city's restaurants, and many
businesses were shut down by this event, but are expected to reopen in
the next few days. In addition, a five-block area of Vienna running
through the historic district will be shut down for repairs; the
detour will be Bonner St. and should not cause too much inconvenience.
