DC, DST, and website information have all been updated according to Doman Reports received in section IX (domain/chapter status). If I didn’t receive a Doman Report, it was updated per the CRD.
There are starting to be grumblings from people waiting on prestige audits. An MC 9 audit, with MOST of the information correct, takes about 4 hours of uninterrupted work. It WILL take longer if there is prestige dating 2000 or before. And the more information missing or incorrect, the longer it takes. That’s for ONE log. Mike and Ester are working by themselves on prestige audits for the WHOLE region, plus aiding in audits for people who have transferred out of the region. AND this is NOT their only responsibility to the region under the ARC Prestige office. Add on top of that the three holidays we just had…. Figure a week for Thanksgiving, and three weeks for Christmas and New Years. That’s a month less time that they have had to be able to work on these audits. Add on top of that their family, school, and work responsibilities, and the longer it takes to complete an audit. They are required to check EACH AND EVERY LINE of the prestige log. This takes time. Please be patient!

SUMMARY
Hey guys,
It’s been one crazy mess lately since the New Year, but fun. Sadly, real life has been interfering with my desire to take care of a few pending audits at my desk. However, things are back on track and I expect to have the queue of pending reviews addressed shortly. With the RC election underway, I have decided to put the All-Call for an AARC: Prestige on hold until the election is done until I can review staff expectations with the new RC.
Now, I would like to address some issues that have been brought to my attention regarding the views about this office and people awaiting a response regarding prestige. For those of you who think that the rest of the staff and I just goof off; that is not the case. However, between our real-life concerns and other responsibilities, we’ve been stretched very tightly. I seriously do need another assistant to help make sure that the audits are running at a reasonable pace and I am not about to push my only AARC: Prestige to the breaking point either. So, if you have not heard from me lately regarding an audit/review/rebuild you have submitted to me, please send me a friendly reminder, but also keep in mind that those are not my only duties in this office or in this club, and I do have a life outside of the organization that I try to keep in balance.
Also, if you have the time and want to help the office succeed in helping and serving the region; volunteer to work as an AARC: Prestige or help with anything else that we mind need help with. I am not one to turn away volunteers and there is plenty of work to go around between reviewing prestige, researching old logs, compiling the regional archives together and helping out with the Regional Prestige Search Engine, Regional Prestige Approval Database and Prestige Guide projects being administrated by my awesome AARC: Projects. Do not be afraid to apply if you do not have the experience, I and the rest of the staff will be more than happy to teach you along the way on how and what you need to do to hold the job and I’ll work to make sure that you fully understand what the work entails. We all have to start somewhere and this club cannot succeed without volunteers to assist at every level of the chain, so never be afraid to volunteer even if you don’t think you have the skills to do the job.
Otherwise, hope everyone is doing alright in the Region of Luv and wishing everyone Happy Holidays and a wonderful and safe New Years. Look out 2010, the South Central Region is on the march!
Now, a few reminders:
· Members - If you believe you should have been awarded Regional level prestige at some point between March and July, and it is not in this report – compile a list and send it to your DC. Your DC is responsible for reporting these items to Regional. Also, if you have submitted your logs through your DC for an audit, review or rebuild, and have not heard from me or my staff as of yet, please have your DCs send me a reminder and I’ll add it to my list of pending items to be taken care of. · DCs - Please compile your members’ reports and send in a single document listing the information. This will help us track better instead of wading through an inordinate amount of e-mails. Please also ensure you are sending your info to the correct department. Regional office supplies, donations, audits, etc come to Prestige. Charities, Featured Game prestige, & Regional Meetings go to the ARC Services for processing. · DCs – if you are missing personal prestige, please ensure that you send in your information to the appropriate AARC Prestige (depending on geographic location) and Cc myself, Jeremy and Jess for tracking.

SUMMARY - I Conducted the Ft. Worth/Dallas vote. Prestige Guide: As the staff went through a bit of a jarring with the RC stepping down, we will continue with this as soon as I (interim RC) have a chance to talk with the Prestige Staff about expectations and how to proceed.
FGotM: Remember that to “get” a FGotM, you need to submit your bid to Melissa Johnson (ARC Services). These are a chance to highlight different domains in the region and to come together as a region for some fun.
Community Service Project: November blood drive for Killeen was so great, we extended it through December!
Recruitment, Retaining, and Mentoring Member Drive: This organization wouldn’t be much fun without the friends…. And it sure wouldn’t function without the volunteers. Help build each chapter and domain, and you’re helping build a better region.
